The Arab African Association for Logistics and Transport – AAALT and the    Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport – CILT International are pleased to arrange the first Training of Trainers (ToT) Course in Logistics and Transport Certificate that will take place:

On

Saturday the 7th and Thursday the 12th of June 2008

From 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

At the Premises of:

Arab Investors Unions

5 Elmessaha Sq. - Burg Elnada - Dokki. Guiza

The course will be conducted by H.E. Dr. Essam Sharaf, President of AAALT and former Minister of Transport, Dr. David Maunder, the Director of International Development – CILT International and Mr. John Portelli, the Director of CILT Malta Section and Director of the Malta Free Port.

 The course will cover all aspects related to the delivery of the CILT Certificate and Diploma particularly: 

• Training methodology and criteria (programme modules, delivery methods,  exams, standards, competences and knowledge expected of the students, certification and CILT membership)

• Teaching material for the main training modules which includes:

o       Management of the Logistics and Transport Environment

o       Managing Resources

o       Customer Care and Service Quality

o       Warehousing & stores operations

o       Freight Operations

o       Fleet Management (freight/passenger)

o       Passenger Transport

Participants in this course will have the opportunity of becoming part of the CILT Team and will thus have the opportunity to:

•  become a member in the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport – CILT International and thus have access to the CILT network which includes over 22,000 professionals and experts in the field.

• Be added to the AAALT Database and be called upon to participate in activities related to the logistics and transport field taking place not only in Egypt but also in other North and South African Countries.

·        Take part in the delivery of the CILT Certificate and Diploma

·        Take part in the delivery of short  training courses and in-house training courses

·        Take part in the provision of consultancy, support services and policy advice to private and public sector organizations
